Steve Aylward has called East Whiteland home for nearly three decades, raising two daughters who attended Great Valley schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. His personal connection to the district—and his concern for its direction—are what inspired him to run for the Great Valley School Board, Region 2.

With over 30 years of executive-level business experience, Steve brings strategic leadership, operational know-how, and a results-driven mindset to every challenge. He’s served as Senior Vice President at Siemens Medical Solutions, led national initiatives at Microsoft in the Health & Life Sciences sector, and is the founder of Westwood Solutions—a company built to solve complex problems with clarity and action. But Steve’s experience doesn’t end there – he has served on the Paoli Hospital/Main Line Health Foundation Board of Directors for over 15 years, and was President of Chester Valley Golf Club in 2021 and 2022, following several years on its Board of Governors. These roles reflect his belief in giving back and building strong, resilient institutions.
Steve is a father, a neighbor, and a community leader who believes Great Valley can, and should, be among the top school districts in Pennsylvania. He’s running because he believes it’s time for a board that reflects a range of perspectives, listens to its constituents, and prioritizes real results.
